In the third quarter of 2024, the top navigation and maps applications on the Android platform in Costa Rica showed varied performance in terms of downloads and active users, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic exhibited a stable download pattern, with numbers fluctuating between 6.9K and 8.4K throughout the quarter. Weekly active users maintained a consistent range, starting at approximately 113K in early July and peaking at 119K in early September.

Radar Map, Radar Detector, HUD experienced significant growth, particularly in downloads, which surged from 647 in early July to 6.7K by the end of September. Weekly active users followed a similar upward trajectory, increasing from about 9.3K to 15.1K over the three months. Revenue showed a modest increase, reaching $4 in the last week of September.

Google Earth maintained steady download figures, hovering around 1.1K to 1.6K weekly. The app's active user base saw slight fluctuations, with a peak of 11.8K in late September.

Offline Maps, GPS, Speedometer saw a noticeable rise in downloads, almost tripling from 846 in early July to 2.3K by the end of September. Weekly active users also increased, from 1.2K to 2.5K during the same period.

Earth Map Satellite showed consistent download figures with a slight increase towards the end of the quarter, peaking at 1.1K in late August. Active users gradually increased from 1.1K to 1.3K by the quarter's end.
